The Shirley Community Association is currently fundraising for the Power to the Park project. This project involves installing a security sensor light on the archway into the Park which will illuminate the parking lot. The second aspect of this project is to bring power (lighting and electrical outlets) to the Jim Snow pavilion, which will make the pavilion more useful for community events. The third aspect of the project is a Christmas tree lighting project of the Golden Beola tree. We are aiming to have the project complete this fall.
At this time we are seeking donations towards this project. The Shirley Community Association is able to offer you a tax receipt in exchange for your donation. If you have a business that is able to donate services of use to the project, we are able to offer tax receipts for your donation as well. Please contact us for further information.
We are able to accept cash or cheque (made payable to the Shirley Community Association), but please do not mail cash.
